Here is my main screen.
I have not decided yet on what to put on the other screens, but probably work related contacts on one and music, film and internet on the other.

For those wondering: The profile icon is from the Omnia theme (with SPB phone suite extention) for MS2 found at xda-developers.

Edit:
Finally worked out my "Work/professional" screen, just removed my appointments for the screen shot. Have not found any use for the 3rd screen, as I have easy access to programs and contacts on the bottom of the screen anyway.

The Clock widget at the top was what I was looking for! Where did you get it? Can you share it with us?

that is indeed the one from the proscreen.. the clock is there but a file called widgets.xml needs to be edited so the program recognizes it as a widget. the widgets.xml file is zipped in the qa_layouts.dat file. the issue is thst phone resolutions will have different files/layouts. so my way is good only for qwvga and maybe wvga it seems.. maybe spb can issue a fix with updated layouts and the proper registry entry. or maybe they know a easier way to add a widget.

files breakdown is like so on my device.

qa_layouts.dat - this contains the xml files for the page layouts and other items. qa_ might be different on devices with other resolutions. eg.. maybe vga device files might be va_*.

widgets.xml - found in the qa_layouts.dat zip file, contains the info regarding the way the widget will work. the dimensions, type, and also which skin files to use.. the dimensions are basically for the size of the box use so you can arrange your widgets when you edit the layout. this needs to be edited to define the clock widget from the pro page.

the registry has keys in there for the widgets list, this needs to be edited so any widget you add shows up on the list of available widgets.

i am typing this all from my omnia so no proofreading, or proper punctuation. i have done all the file editing on my omnia, since im on the road without a laptop.

i did not post a password required to unzip the dat files because spb may not like that.. you must acquire that to do any of this.. files must be rezipped with the same password too. its easy if you google it. perhaps spb can make a advanced user section where the community can get help from them on making custom layouts, and there could be a disclaimer warning that you use at your own risk..

maybe i can post sctual details on what i did, but most who are willing to try this will see that thos files are sort of self explanatory.

ps.. the two icons on the clock are seperate small widgets arranged ontop of the clock.. profile and essy settings for my omnia. since they are ontop they ca still be clicked.... incase you didnt know that..

Hey 75 repu,

seem pretty straight forward, but can you provide a bit more information.
what settings you used in the widgets.xml file (what skin etc).

Thanks, great find.

Very Happy here are two widgets from the xml file.. so you can get a taste of what to edit. the top one is the new widget. i just copied the medium widget and pasted it back into the file and then changed the names/values of what was necessary.

"class" probably isnt resolution dependant.
"name" is what you will call the clock, and how the registry identifies it.
"skin""middle skin""double skin" refers to the file for the sctual widget, skin seems to be for qvga/wqvga. middle and double probably refer to the higher resolution files. in this case my clock is in a file called "qpw_dclock_modern"
width and height i changed to the size of the image found in the "qpw_dclock_modern.dat" file.
if your are reading this scratching your dont try it.
always back up the files you play with.. i rename mine to .bak or something just incase i have to revert to the old working files.
the worse that has happened is that spb locked up or wouldnt start, so i went back and put back the old untouched file.

Plugin Name="ModernDClock" Class="Spb.LSP.ModernDClock" Skin="qpw_dclock_modern" MiddleSkin="ma_dclock_widget_medium" DoubleSkin="va_dclock_widget_medium">
BoundRect X="0" Y="0" Width="205" Height="87"/>
/Plugin>

Plugin Name="ModernDClockMedium" Class="Spb.LSP.ModernDClock" Skin="qa_dclock_widget_medium" MiddleSkin="ma_dclock_widget_medium" DoubleSkin="va_dclock_widget_medium">
BoundRect X="0" Y="0" Width="120" Height="60"/>
/Plugin>

ill post a pic of my registry so you can see what i added to make this show up on the list
