Spb Pocket Plus extends Pocket PC functionality with features that are missing in the Windows Mobile platform. It does not change the general Pocket PC interface, rather it extends it.
Spb Mobile Shell introduces a next generation interface for Pocket PCs, making it even more useful to you. This new interface extends the original Pocket PC interface in a very natural way. Spb Mobile Shell also adds some features that are not in the scope of Spb Pocket Plus, such as weather forecast and photo speed dial.
Spb Mobile Shell makes Pocket PCs easier to operate by improving usability, while Spb Pocket Plus improves device functionality. Working together, these programs will make the device both more practical and powerful.
The following table compares the features of Spb Mobile Shell and Spb Pocket Plus:
Below you can find a few suggestions for integration between Spb Mobile Shell and Spb Pocket Plus.
1. If you use Spb Pocket Plus Today plug-in only as a simple launcher, you may find out that Spb Mobile Shell Today plug-in is good enough for you. In this case you can remove Spb Pocket Plus plug-in from Today or even uninstall the corresponding Spb Pocket Plus component to make sure that storage and program memory utilization is as efficient as possible.
2. Merge all Spb Pocket Plus tabs into one tab and insert it into Spb Mobile Shell.
3. Insert the entire Spb Pocket Plus plug-on as a tab into Spb Mobile Shell.
4. Insert some of Spb Mobile Shell tabs into Spb Pocket Plus. This feature is supported starting from Spb Pocket Plus 3.2. _________________ Yaroslav Goncharov
