My SPB Time is also off by one hour. My PDA is correct but not SPB. I saw this message from the SPB forum http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4437
But it did not work for me |

|

I live in NZ, but I specifically use Spb Time to keep track of the time in the UK and New York, where I have friends and family. New York is showing the wrong time, although I have the latest version of Spb Time, applied the WM5 fix and also applied the fix mentioned in this thread: http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4437.
Please advise how to fix it - it's useless to me if I can't rely on the time. |

What I did to fix it, uninstalled SPB Time. soft reset, re installed, maded all the cities = a city I would not use. Deleted all cities in the favorites list, copied over the new city database, added my cities.
Time is now correct. |

Thanks Chrissard. When I followed your suggestion to the letter, it worked! What a palaver. But it's right now, thanks so much for the input.

I followed the steps above and it worked like a charm for me. Just navigate to where you have SPB Time installed (BIS, SD Card, CF Card) and replace the TimeCitiesDB DAT File with the new download. |

I followed these steps to the letter but it did not work for me. All cities outside the US are correct. All Cities inside the US are off. The local time is correct but none of the other cities... _________________ HTC TyTN II (Main), Cingular 8125 (Test)

that worked for me as well.
but i have a question. given the high visibility of this time change in the US, why wasn't this update/fix listed under the support section for spb time? i ask b/c i'm considering purchasing spb time (and some other spb products) and i'm curious about the quality of support. any comments? |

| I too have the daylight savings time problem in world clock. I rec'd fix instructions from Spb but I can't find the favorites list in my Ipak 2003SE of my Dell WM5. I did a search for *.dat and had no luck. The favorites folder under Windows is empty as I don't use it. jlsholiday |

jlsholiday:
not your favorites folder, your city favorites (options, cities, favorites list). make sure you unselect any us cities on the cities tab before you try to delete them from the favorites list - otherwise you'll get an error.
and the .dat file you're replacing is in /Program Files/Spb Time
so you delete the cities from the favorites list, replace the .dat file, and then add your cities back again |

I welcome you to buy the products, with the thought of support mostly done by users in the forums. I think that the Spb Team tries to let people that have the experience with the products try to help out the user in need of support. I always get a return message if it is something serious within a couple hours. As far as direct support that is where creating a new topic with your problem as a {FR}, or {Bug} in the subject line, I believe that in my experience it is addressed within a day. Hope this helps.
